Competitive Grants Program Each year the Institute sponsors a competitive grants program. Grants of up to $5,000 per investigator are made to researchers at participating UNC institutions for a one year period. Deadlines for Regular ION Grants are due in February. In addition, Special Grant Competitions (Microsoft® Word version) are also held. To get information on either program, click on the highlighted words above.
